This blog was an answer to Scripps How-
ard columnist Bonnie Erbe's article in th
Star Banner newspaper 0n 4/4/'08. We
obtained permission to reprint it from
the author.

NEOCON DRIVEL

It was troubling getting through Bonnie
Erbe's column "Which One Should Drop
Out?" (April 4) when she used Mike Bar-
rone as an oracle to dispense wisdom not
usually found in mere mortals.

Ms. Erbe describes Mike's analysis of the
current Democratic presidential contest
as "sophisticated". If Barrone made a
"sophisticated analysis" of this or any
other subject it will touch a new
experience for him.

Through Barrone, Bonnie resorts to a
well rehearsed diversion among neocons:
statistical distortions to match their
points of view- a perrenial staple of neo-
con jive. Not many readers pay much
attention to it anymore, so it's more than
somewhat suprising Bonnie swallowed
Barrone's blabber.

It has come to pass that almost everyone
is aware that all members of the neocon
ilk are rarely correct in their assumptions,
prognosticatons or purported reasoning.

Their isn't much "sophisticated analysis"
in the balance of Bonnie's treatise, but it
may help in future discerning if she is
given a fact she can take to the bank: The
Democrats will vote for Hilary or Barack
and swamp the Republicans in the fall.
Ergo, do not waste pen, ink thought or
time trying to help John McCain and his
lobbyist quarterbacks.

The outstanding justificaton for that
certainty is the fact that McCain is deep
into his dotage stage and the longer he
stumbles and bumbles along the more
people will see it. My God! Doesn't the
simple fact that the silly old man is
being corrected and coached by a
blinkered schlemiel like Joe Lieberman
tell us what we need to know?

FUN AND GAMES

This is a memorable date.
The golf course was dry and fast and
gave the ball a great roll.

Perused Naomi Wolf's book "End Of
America" and found it shows prom-
ise of a powerful read.

Then a US Senator, after listening to a
rant by HIS President, declared it was
an Alice-In-Wonderland harangue
where up is down and down is up.

That analogy started thoughts of
Lewis Carroll's story and a favorite
quatrain quoting the famed walrus.

Forgive the paraphrasing. Just
couldn't resist. Blame Bush.

"The time has come the prexy said
to speak of things he's done
Of peace thru war, of truth thru lies
And how its been such fun."

NOTES ON THE FABLE MONSTER

On 3/2/08 Columbia invaded Ecuador
and murdered 17 people. It was an inter-
national crime with a potential for dire
consequences for the region and the U.S.

The internet went ballistic. Newspapers
pro & con condemned it. Only the 24
hour TV news channels sensing a third
war for the U.S. (bringing great ratings)
weaseled around justifications for the
Columbian agression.

But far & away Hilary Clinton came with
the most stupefyingly stupid, war mong-
ering statement of any organization or
individual. She starts her account by
blasting Venezuela's defensive moves as
"unwarranted and dangerous". When she
comes up with the fact the incursion was
Colunbia raiding Ecuador with Chavez
not involved Our Lady of Experience
comes with an outlandish conclusion
that would embarrass Pres. Bush:
"After reviewing the situation, I am
hopeful Ecuador will determine that
its interests lie in closer co-operation
with Columbia" Then to confirm she
no idea of what she's talking about her
statement continues: "Hugo Chavez
must call a halt to this provocative
action"

Hello, hello, Hil Baby listen up. Colum
bia invaded Ecuador. Chavez and Ven-
ezuela were not involved. He merely
helped to calm things down in con-
junction with the OAS. The U.S. and
Columbia stood alone among South
American nations.

Couple of personal comments from SJ:
He doubts our brilliant Lady of Experi-
ence is the politician he would have
faith in to answer that 3 A.M. call she
made famous. Secondly, He doesn't
feel our brilliant Lady of Experience
is that brilliant and the experience
she claims she has must be in some

McCAIN AND THE LOBBYISTS

Honest John did not have sexual relations with
"that woman". Outside of the families involved
and those citizens involved who in hell cares?

After multitudinous attacks on Sen. Mac by
Stinky Limbauger & his mob of cocklebrained
screamers the New York Times gave them a
shot at redemtion. Since it now appears Mac
will be the Repug nominee this fall Stinky does
not want to be left out so he & his ilk broard-
sided the NYT for printing the reporters re-
port.

Criticism by the TV& newspaper punditry
hollered the Sen did nothing wrong with "that
woman" Nary a word about the essential part
of the report: lobbyists. But with America's
pre-occupation with sex it was predictable
the savants of the fourth estate would miss
the essence. Of course we wonder what Mac
did for Ms. Iseman and for Ms. Isaman's
clients including Lowell Paxson & his com-
munications company. Mac said unequiv-
ocally he did nothing untoward with her,
with Paxson, with the company.

This is more than somewhat disputed by
Mike Isikoff and Newsweek who produced
letters from Mac over his sig that he wrote
as chair of the Senate Commerce Comm-
ittee asking for a decision on a Paxson
request.

We know Mac is up to his gonads in lobbyists
in his Senate office and his Committee (Buse,
Black, Davis, etc. etc.). We also know lobby-
ist mogul Jack Abramoff recently tipped us
on how that profession bores in on legislators
and suckers with food, drink, favors and
$100,000 outings. When it becomes necessary
they'll even compose a bill when a zombie-like
legislator can't seem to get it togther.

My bookmaker says the betting indicates the
NYT would not have printed the story if it
could not back it up. Conventional thought is
Mac was wise to button up the subject after
his strident disclaimer. By claiming the fifth
he'll have less to explain when the other shoe
drops. And drop it will.

The Times did not get to be America's paper
of record by letting a bottom of his class mid-
shipman out-maneuver it.

Spoiler John disagrees with conventional
thought on this. Such a firestorm was created
by this relatively harmless report it put the
Times in a position of having to prove it.
They can and they will.

EDWARDS LEAVES RACE, WHAT'S LEFT?

John Edwards splitting from the presidetial
gambit eliminates the last best chance to put
the squeeze on our supreme rulers: the multi
nationals and the defense department.

Let us presume Obama wins the presidency,
his naivete will be manna for the corporations
and they will eat him alive.

Try Hillary. She knows who and where the
power is and she will put in with it.

McCain? He is body and soul with the Mil-
itary-Industrial complex. A McCain pres-
idency willl be more of the same obstinate
bullying, wars, flip-flopping & incompetence.
John is not the swiftest kid on the block.

Romney was, is and would be with the su-
preme rulers and their minions. He is a
"let them eat cake" man .

So it is a sad day that America has left it-
self without the one candidate who was on
their side.

BILL KRISTOL AND THE N. Y. TIMES

Clark Hoyt, Times public editor, wrote an
article on 1/13/o8 headlined "He May Be
Unwelcome, But We'll Survive". Let me
try to take your hubris down a peg.

Is it the goal of America's Paper of Rec-
ord to survive? Surely, there are more
salubrious objectives for the vaunted
Grey Lady. e. g. its economic health,
its communal leadership. And so on.

The 1/13 piece quotes the publisher
as seeking an opinion in line with the
"conservative republican movement".
Mr. Hoyt, Bill Kristol does not rep-
resent a conservative republican
movement. He belongs, votes, hawks,
and represents the neo-conservative
party line. There is a cataclysmic
difference between those two con-
servative concepts and barring a
discordant drive one would expect
the leadership of the Times to dis-
cern that difference.

Again, quoting the Publisher. "He'-
"ll strengthen the discussion".
.Kristol's input into any discussion
is so far afield of reason, of depth,
of thought as to be embarrassing.
His predictions? bewilderingly il-
logical.

Many people in the industry excuse
Mr. Kristol's sappy deliveries saying
he is only playing to the shock value.
HAH!

57 DEMS SELLOUT TO REPUGS ON
WIRETAPS AND SURVEILLANCE.

Are you surprised? Shouldn't be, it was pre-
dictable. And our ever alert Repugs knew
the lack of gumption of the Dems was on
their side.

They already have a new ploy that went
into effect today: They will promote the
idea the Congress, with its Democratic
majority and agenda, didn't have such a
bad session so far this year. In reality, the
Repugs are joyous Bush made mince meat
of Dems on the illegal Iraq war, notwith-
standing Bush has the credibility of a gnat.
Also they backed down like beaten curs as
soon as Bush threatened no August recess,
if they didn't give him what he wanted on
the wiretap and surveillance bill. Bush
added insult to injury by inserting Alberto
Gonzalez as the "decider" (with McConnell)
on all wiretaps and surveillance. Of the 3
amigos (Cheney,Bush and Gonzo) Al may
have the least crediibility of all. And that
may really be scraping the barrels bottom.

Also nothing was done to reign in the big
corporations who are giving our jobs and
our manufacturing to yonder lands. Then
there is insurance, health, infrastructure.
Nothing. No wonder Bill Sammons on Fox
News didn't blast the Dems, these items are
the Repugs life blood. Bill sees a lot more
buckling under and so do I.

If the Repugs were the controling party and
were setting the agenda they could not have
done better and probably not as well.

Bye, bye Nancy, Harry, Democrats. Have a
nice vacation.

Archer Daniels Midland, one of our lands
giants in the agriculture biz, brags about
being "Resourceful By Nature." Don't try
to understand that slogan, its just words
that mean nothing, but sounds knowledge-
able. No-one in the ad agency or corporat-
ion can tell us what it is supposed to indi-
cate, which is why they think it sounds so
knowledgeable.

What they should have dreamed up was
"Resourceful By Government Subsidies."
That would be so much more enlightened
and everyone would have understood.

You've read about the new farm bill that is
costing about 280 billion for the 2007-08
fiscal year? Our friends at "Resourceful by
Nature" will pick up a couple of billion
from that load. Much is allegedly going for
research of corn being turned into ethanol.
That supposedly will get us off our oil binge.

Have you read that over half the cars in Bra-
zil run on ethanol made from sugar. AND it
is costing Brazilians almost half the price our
buddies at ADM are projecting for their tater
product. Their research is done. It is success-
ful. They've reduced oil consumption, people
are paying much less, Brazil is open to re-
search exchamge. What in God's name has
become of our smarts? Are our pols so weak,
so owned by the corporations that they can't
use their common sense or are the three
branches of government just of, by and for
the corporations?

Yell, scream, write, phone. Don't let our pre-
cious land go down the tubes without a whim-
per. Do something, anything, fight for America.

THE BABBLER

Just read a column by Wild Bill Rusher
where-in he advocates bombing Iran. No
word on whether he wants to use our 1000
lb toys or just Enola Gay it with a single
plane and a single H bomb. His perennial
threats, accusations & glaring mis-state-
ments are there for God & man to chuckle
at.Most of his messages are variations of
his rantings (2007 style) of his rantings
(2003 style) of the do or die Iraq invasion.
Babbler offers no proof for his fear mong-
ering.

Bill Babbler adds a new tale that rivals any-
thing Harry Potter says or does and it adds
to his over-the-top moronic status. He tells
us when and if Iran attains nuclear
power it will trigger the same capability for
Egypt, Jordan, Arabia and "a dozen other
regimes in Asia, Africa & So. America will
follow suit." I guess the data, the equip-
ment, the money, the academicians and the
technical personell will be hanging on street
corners waiting to be picked up to make the
bombs. "Hey, come out of that tree. We go
home. Make bomb." "Aaaa. Dah. Cigaretto?"

Following on that brilliance Babbler Bill
warns IF in such a world a nuclear bomb is
smuggled into the US and IF it is detonated
how would we know If it came from Africa,
Asia or where-ever. There are more IFs in
that scenario than there are in Kipling's
poem.

But, hey, the Babbler is one smart guy.

Two things Babbler forgot. He doesn't men-
tion Iran is not Iraq. They will retaliate and
we have 160,000 American troops and 80,
000 contractors on their doorstep. Even a
clown with no military know-how would
have to think Iran's current weaponry is a
cause for thought.

Second. Iran is a signator of the UN's IAEA
and has a perfect right to pursue nuclear
power for electricity & other non-violent
domestic uses. Bill forgot to tell us this.

Lastly, Babbler Bill ends his laudation for
the bombing of Iran by letting his funde-
mentalist followers know God is on their
side. He quotes a couplet from Emerson
which seems to indicate God approves.
Without using the phrase "Bring 'em on"
that was the thought we were left with.

I didn't know God & Emerson exchanged
warrior thoughts. I'll check my Ralph
Waldo and get back to you.

VOTING IS SO DAMNED IMPORTANT

Senator Diane Feinstein, (D. Ca.) is writing
an election bill that will require a paper trail
in all voting machines. It is clearly an imp-
ortant program that merits bi-partisan
support. If The Dick Cheney allows the elec-
tion to take place, that is. The way The Dick
kicks the Constitution around how can we
stop him if he declares a national security
emergency and "postpones" the 2008
election? You know, the war, code red, an
emergency, Al Qaida will make Ghengis
Kahn look like a sissy by next year.Same
old crapola and remember lies work

Most of us would like to see more voters at
the polls on election days so here is a fool-
proof way to raise the number 10 to 15 %
in 2008. Move the voting days to Sat. and
Sunday instead of having it on Tuesdays.
The pols don't like the idea 'cause they de-
pend on their base and moving it to the
week-end would bring many non-affiliated
voters to the polls. This is particularly true
in the primaries. Week-end voting is an old,
but good idea that can't get anywhere be-
cause of the second rate legislatures WE'RE
affiliated with.

Fony Tony Blair, now a Peace envoy, is
going to Portugal for a meeting with the
Middle East "Quartet". Can you imagine
the gall of appointing Fony Tony as envoy
to an international peace conference? Do
you think The Dick Cheney had any input
in the selection? After all Fony Tony was
a The Dick Cheney crime family lap dog
for over 5 years.

Fony Tony's peace magic is going to be put
to use with Iran, Arabia, Palestine, Turkey
and, of course, the Kurds, Shiites & Sunnis.
All of whom know he is a Fony Tony. God
help us.

My biggest gripe with Fony Tony is the re-
diculous selling job that was foisted on us;
that he had the brain power to influence
dopiest, lyingist prexy in U.S. history. He
became a Mortimer Snerd for Bushs'
Charlie McCarthy. Edgar Bergen, of
course, was pulling all the strings and he

strength of 10 to rectify what has happened

PUNDITS, SAVANTS AND FOX NEWS

Ever watch Fox News anchored by Brit Shit
Hume? Lots of souls do it for laughs and
two or three do it for the "news." A segment
called the Fox All Stars closes the nightly
feigned news hour. The All Stars consist of
Barnes, Kondracke and Krauthammer. Mz.
Liason appears regularly, but she cannot
be classified with the aforementioned trio.
She reasons. They gibber.

Mort Kondracke stumbles & bumbles thru
his dissertations with a finesse that makes
W seem coherent. Jolly Cholly Krautham-
mer was told somewhere along the way he
had a big brain. Jolly Cholly, they were kid-
ding you. You're a perennial bench warmer.

But Fred BeetleBrainBarnes is in a class by
himself in that he abuses the privilege of
being stupid. If it wasn't for the White
House emails, faxes and talking points
they send out this gink would be stuck
for a reply to "hello."

Two quick examples of recent gems
BeetleBrainBarnes are: "---no-one ever
heard of Al Qaida before 9-11." He
should have said HE never heard of Al
Qaida before 9-11.There are hundreds
of references to Bin Laden & his group
before 9-11, but BeetleBrain you must
read them. Looking at comic books
doesn't get it. And find the public li-
brary (they loan books) and read Dick
Clark's book "Against All Enemies." It
has many, many attributions to Al
Qaida & Osama in the Clinton years .

The other recent example of this pun-
dits brilliance is his description of
Senators Warner, Voinivich, Lugar
and Domenici as "a few weak Sena
tors". Calling those four men "weak"
indicates what a buffoon Beetle-
BrainBarnes truly is. Whether one
likes or dislikes them they cannot be
thrown into such a category. That is
unless you work for the Weakly
Standard where those kind of idiocies
are nutured.

In any event, it has been declared Fred
BeetleBrainBarnes is the asshole of the
month for July, '07. It may be a tweak
early, but he is such a consistent fool
no-one has even a remote chance of
outdoing him.

OLD STORY, NEW PLAYERS

In order to fake a start of who began World
War 2 the Nazi Colonel, Otto Skorzeny, en-
gineer turned soldier of fortune, set up a
"raid" of Polish commandos invading Ger-
many who, naturally, had to defend itself.

Think the Tonkin Gulf in the 60's and LBJ.
Think the Indian wars in the 1800's.

In 2002 and 2003 the story was fine tuned
by Bush, The Dick Cheney, Condi Mush-
room Cloud and a coterie of fierce coat-
holding neocons. Gist of the story was
Saddam had the bomb and was going to
use it on us. Scared hell out of some guys
so to protect ourselves we invaded Iraq.

This past weekend the TV channel CNN
became a potent tool of the Bush Crime
Family in preparing the country for the
imminent bombing of Iran. The station
pounded the air waves with accusations
galore, but not a shred of proof. Sunday
they did repeats of Saturdays charges.
The Bush and The Dick crowd even op-
ened the coffin and let that old vampire,
Kissinger, out to say a few lines about our
obligation to continue the fighting.

If we attack Iran no American doubts Iran
will be pulverized. However they are ready
for this and they will retaliate. Secondly,
who else will come in? Turkey & the Kurds?
Russia? They are closer than 6 is to 7 with
Iran. What will Israel, Syria, Hezbollah,
& Saudi do? How about the Muslims of Pak-
istan? Mushareff may not last a week. And
do not forget Afghanistan with 18,000
American soldiers there.

America cannot sustain a multi country
war. Ask David Walker, American Comp-
troller General.

America is being led by a non reading,
non reasoning duet who are being ad-
vised by the very same neo-cons that
sucked us into Iraq and whose primal
loyalties (to the US) are most definitely
suspect.

MISSING MOLLY

I often think of Molly and what she might
say about the current this or that.

Not maudlin, not schmaltzy. Just missing
her wit, her reasoning.

Wouldn't it have been fun to read her take
on the crapola of Paris and Brittany? Can
you imagine what she could have done to
the '07 plottings of Joe Lieberman and his
Repug puppeteers? And the ripping she
would have given the justification of
Scooters' commutation.

She lightened our load.

A MOMENT FOR A FEW CONCISE OBSERVATIONS

Jolly Cholly Krautheimer said on Fox All
Stars (ugh, ssss, boo boo,ugh) that Colin
Powell's U.N. presentation was all about
WMD's being in the hands of Saddam and
Saddam being in the hands of Al Qaida. In
checking the veracity of Jolly Cholly's
statement I flew to Darfur and asked nine
starving children if they knew Saddam was
in the hands of Qaida. They laughed as
they told me Jolly Cholly lied as is his
want, there was no Qaida in Iraq under
Saddam and everyone knows that.

Gosh, how dismaying. Jolly Cholly lying
on that bastion of truth Fox News.

Mahers' and Jeralyn Merrits columns
on Huff Po re Scooters no jail time.
To Bill: "--- can you name 1 person who
did not know Scooter was NOT going to
jail? Why all the fuss? The Bush/Cheney
tag team are destroying this constitutional
republic. That's what we should be fussing
about."
To Jeralyn: "Good analysis. Sound logic.
All for naught. We both knew Scooter was
not going to do time in the can. He knows
where most of the skeletons are hanging."

Marie Cocco wrote in Newsday in the 90's
that Nuke "Gingrich hypocracies are
astonishing". The Chief disagrees. She
thinks Nukes lies are super astonishing.
His latest whopper was his barefaced dec-
laration that Mohammed Atta, of 9-11
fame, was in this country illegally. Such
a stupid lie. So easy to check. And it has
been written about so often it is an acc-
epted fact among the Eskimos in both the
North & South Poles. Liar and hypocrite,
Nuke, is going to run for the Repug nom-
ination for president in Sept.or Oct. Boy,
wouldn't it be wonderful if he got it. His
constituency consists of hard right corp-
orate elitists, then stop, that's it.

Health Care, Inc. just invited Jeb Bush to
a seat on their Board Of Directors. Know
what he'll be paid for every day he plants
his posterior at a board meeting? $37,000.
It is important the every day workers of
Health Care, Inc. understand what I've
said. Most of them don't make that much
yearly. The article that put this out also
one lined that the company settled a Gov-
ernment suit for billion or so. I phoned &
Googled and searched for confirmation or
denial, but all I could get was they have
600 offices and are doing more than Bill
and Melinda for the ailing. If anyone can
help with data it would be much appreci-
ated. One thing fits here: The Jebster Bush
is the closest rival to The Dick Cheney se-
crecy tangent you will find this year. He
has to go into a vault to let you know how
the Yankees and Red Sox are doing.

LET'S REVIEW BROOKS ON WOLFOWITZ

Times columnist, David Brooks, opines on
why Wolfie was canned as prexy of the
World Bank. Main points: the political cul-
ture of our moment plus the fact Wolfie did
not kiss the ass of the department heads &
the many vice presidents spread hither &
yon. As is Brooks want,however, he simply
ignores or distorts any data which could
grant alternatives to his fixed interpret-
ations. Use Wolfies name in public,
he is par boiled and his incompetance is
there for God and man to see. But Paul
is not the thrust of this essay. Davey Boy
is, severe limitations and all.

No single point in Brooks impressions
rings true. e.g. 90% of the staff @ World
Bank are democrats, 90% of "media
types are also dems, 90% of academi-
cians who comment on his job perform-
ance are dems. Wrong, wrong, & wrong.
Even the dumbest of the dumb know
that people who deal in money (as ban-
kers do) are invariably conservative Re-
pugs. Media types are generally 50/50
with few having the moxie to tell the
facts they know to be the truth. Aca-
demicians,too, are about 50/50 over-
all. In some places they are 90% one
way or the other.In some places the con-
servatives are 100% . That never happens
with Dems, wish it did.

Davey the Brookster tells us Wolfie came to
the Bank lugging the heavy baggage of Iraq.
That is inaccurate. Wolfie never considered
it baggage. He believed & still believes the
pre-emtive invasion of that sovereign land,
which did us no harm, was a concept whose
time had come, and Wavey Davey, sorcerer
in charge of Neo-conism, and who is
anchored by scribe status at N. Y. Times,
is side by side with Der Volf on this. Both
now claim it was simply botched by D. C.
bureaucrats.

Brooks doesn't rap about Wolfies' qual-
ifications, or lack thereof, for the position
of W.B. president. No banking experience,
no "how to" on poverty reduction. And his
decided reputation as a lousey , inept
manager. Instead, the Neocon Propagan-
dist, plants a brand new thought: the banks
staff was out to get der Volf because he did
not "woo" them when he took over. I know
a two headed orang utang that fell off his
perch laughing when that bit of idiocy was
laid on him.

Truth is,Wolfies demise as Prexy was inevit-
able due to 3 apointments he made in the first
months he got there. Kevin Kellums, one of
his helpers at the Pentagon, Robin Cleveland
director of security at OMB, Susie Folsome,
Dept .of Institutional Integrity chief. All
plucked from the noble and learned Bush

Left Behind bill that became law in 2001.

proof step to better schooling for our be-

But did you know the No Child law makes

schools of the country have been turned into
a harassing recruiting tool of the American
Military? If the school refuses to give the
Pentagon the data that the No Child law re-
quires the schools federal aid can be can-
celled. The data sought includes age, gender
,status of students plus details of their par-
ents work place and their work phone num-
bers. And that's just the beginning.

Just read "Scalia and Torture" on Andy
Sullivan's Dirty Dish, 6/20.

He tells us Justice Scalia links the actions
of Jack Bauer, protagonist of the hit show
"24", to what was going on and indeed, is
still happening in various countries that
run off physical agony. I'm talking about
torture that is part of our treatment of
SUSPECTED terrorists. He indicates that
Bauer should not be jailed if he is caught
by suggesting he saved a zillion people &
if a few bad guys were roughed up so be it.

When Scalia first came to the Court he
was hailed as the second coming of Oliver
Wendell Holmes. That was proven wrong
as it turned out his written opinions only
seemed to inspire the likes of Clarence
Thomas.

Connecting "24", which is a fictional, made
for TV playland, to factual wantonness per-
pertrated by us in Gitmo, Abu Ghraib et al.
allows one to realize why 70% of us feel our
country is on the wrong track in general
and jurisprudence in particular.

Before the U.S. leaders commenced the
rape of Iraq Rummy, The Dick Cheney,
Condi Mushroom Cloud gave assurances
Iraq had WMD's and they knew exactly
where they were. Bush and the lesser
members of his mob were telling anyone
who would listen that the WMD's were
there and he wasn't going to stand for it.
Bush iterated and reiterated, however,
he had not made up his mind about an
invasion. Since he was shipping a 100,
000 soldiers to neighboring Kuwait no-
one paid much attention to that lie. That
was Fall of 2002 & Jan. & Feb of 2003.

Cut to 2007 and you are aware of the ca-
tastrophe that is Iraq. Also, there are two
presidential nominating races going on
and Mitt Romney, a Repug, seems to be
leading in his heat and that brings us to
the heart of the matter. On June 5, 2007
he goes on Tim Russert's Meet the Press
and in answering a simple query as to
whether Bush's invasion of Iraq was the
right move the ex gov. of Mass. & wanna
be Prexy of the United States answered
with a lie so stupid, so unecessary, so
transparent, so evident that it rocked
Gibraltar. Mitt Romney, ex gov. of Mass.,
leading candidate for the presidency of
these United States. said the war started
because Saddam Hussein wouldn't open
up his country to the IAEA inspectors of
the United Nations who would have ver-
ified that there were no WMD's in Iraq.

But, of course, in Sept. of '02 Saddam
agreed let the Inspectors back in. By
November they were in Iraq with heli-
copters, trucks, equipment galore, 100
inspectors and 150 staff workers. In
his Jan. '03 report Hans Blix, honcho
of the inspectors, admitted they'd al-
ready inspected 230 prime locations
and found no WMD. He continued to
inspect in Jan. & Feb. and when Bush
ordered the inspectors out Blix begged
him for 6 weeks to 2 months to finish
his inspections.

Bush refused. The inspectors left. Bush
invaded.

The purpose of this memo is not only to
call attention to the Romney Faux pas
but to ask where is the lack of dissenters
to this obvious lack of reasoning on the
Gov's part. One can only smile when the
newspaper hack or our t.v. flakes send
forth their conventional wisdoms. God
forbid they would criticize a person who
might go up the ladder.

The only piece that captured the moment
that I found was Krugman in the NYT.

George Bush is a world class champion of
the rich, but even the richie rich could see
he was heading for a tree if he continued
to encircle Russia with U.S. missiles.

Ex KGB boss, Putin, spoke out mildly re
Bush's plan (whatever it was supposed to
be) for the past 15 months. Dramatically
he raised the anti at a G-8 gathering in
Prague where Bush and the haves and
wanna-bees had a lesson in how to screw
the world's have nots.

One ominous note on the Putin's "retalia-
tory steps" is China sided with the Russ-
ians voicing a considered opinion that the
U.S. actions could start a "new arms race"

It is truly remarkable the depth of George
Bush's maladjustments. Whatever he puts
his mitts on turns to shit.

Whether a Repug or a Dem is elected in '08
the main goal for the new prexy will be to
rectify this administrations oafish decisions.

A wag suggested she may have had a
sponsor ala Paul Wolfie who demanded
progress. He was kidding, of course. Ask
Shaha Ali Risa, she's hip to this noise

Since the Dems won last years election
oversight committees have been a thorn
in the bureaucratic britches. When rel-
evant subpoenas swooped in with queries
that had to be answered our fair damsel
flew the coop. She joined the ex Bushies,
Rummy, Wolfie, Bolton, Perle, Feith who
discovered resignation was the better
part of valor. The Committee wanted to
question Lovable Julie about: 1-viola-
tions of the Endangered species act. 2-
her censoring scientific conclusions 3-
berating and abusing the workers, part-
icularly her own staff. 4- Sen. Wyden
wanted to ask her about complaints of
her undermining the work & integrity
of employees.The Inspector general
of Interior blasted her and wanted to
quetion her about her feeding Fed
documentation to OIL companies and
a property rights group.

It is interesting to note here that in the
80's or 90's Lovable Julie took time out
from ragging fellow workers to write a
book about----you guessed it---- God,
Spirtiualism, tolerance, etc. Many of
her co-employees were skeptical. Can't
see why, can you?

Matt Daly read and wrote about Julie
and Truthout put it on their site.

The policy director of Center For Bio-
logical Diversity hit the nails head :"Ju-

The Democrats gave our totally delusional
President a Father's day gift: a blank check
for continuous war.

There were tip-off signs the Dems were not
going to abide by the Nov. 2006 election
cry to say halt to the insane Iraq escapade.
The first inkling came when the Dems put
Steny Hoyer in to be majority leader over
Jack Murtha. Ye gads! among his baggage
is the fact he has been ambiguous on the
right or wrongs of the war. Too, Steny's
sister works for the Israel cause.The same
Israel whose cadre of neo-cons got us into
this Iraqi mess with their plots and lies.
NEVER AGAIN will this blog assist Dems
as a party. Individuals, yes. Party, no.

On a personal note: How could I have been
so naive as to believe the current band of
Dems would adhere to the will of the voters
and stanch the blood of the calamitous war.
I grew up talking to Democrats about Dem-
ocrats and watching them comply to the
plebicites with gusto. Grandfather was in
the N.Y. Assembly with Al Smith & Jimmy
Walker, I should have known this crew of
Democrats would not measure up. But this
war is so bad, so wrong, so noxious for Am-
erica, for Iraq, for the region, for the world
it distorts reason in some cases.

One question: If we achieve "victory" what
will we achieve? Think. No platitudes, no
cliches. What will we win? The answer is
nothing, since we would only recover part
of what we have lost. Our army is depleted.
Our national guards are decimated. Some
civil rights have been thwarted. As of now
30,000 soldiers have been killed or maim-
ed. God alone knows how many Iraqi men,
women and children dead,wounded,miss-
ing. We have lost the trust and respect of
former friends and allies. We've made a
billion enemies in the Arab and Muslim
worlds. Our future is one of excessive
security priorities and more loss of our
civil rights. The longer this horror goes
on,the more the above havoc will grow
for many generations to come.

SJ started a web site last year" calling
to light the misrepresentations of our
transient officials and the main stream
media." Been many blasts against Bush,
Cheney, Condi, Rummy, Bolton et al.
Now for every punch thrown at the Re-
pug party another wil go to the hide of
the Democrats. NEVER AGAIN will the
Dems get a free ride on the blog.

Harry Hopkins, affectionally known by
FDR as Harry The Hop, was a Dem ad-

excellence. He was credited with saying

she used were they made "inaccurate "
statements.They teach one to avoid a dirty
word like liar at tractable Regent Unversity.

By far the most damning admission of Two
Shoes appearance was her saying she "cr-
ossed the line" by taking her religious and
political views into consideration for car-
eer applicants. In so doing she set aside the
cherished checks and balances Franklin
and company embedded in our hides. Her
methodolgy of hiring (& I presume, firing)
abandons free thought and constructive
ideas while it brings strength to an imp-
erial presidency & unobstructured power
& cruelty to militarism. By selecting only
conservative, religious (sky-god brand)
thinkers to man the oars the executive
branch becomes malleable to its leader
and putty to its military.

Want to hear the best part? The Dept Of
Justice said they would investigate weth-
er Mz. Goodie Two Shoes did hire thata-
way. Alberto, Paul, Fellas Mz Goodie not
only admitted she hired as described

Even David Brooks, chief sorcerer of the
neo-con gangsters, is voicing futility with
his erstwhile brain trust. Brooks in his
May 1 column NYTimes, failed to connect
on why the corruption of the Repugs is so
blatant. Davey, it's easy, there is/was no
thought, no plan, (sound familiar?). It
was just another grab all you can caper.
Because they saw the debauchery of the
Repug leaders and their hunger for pow-
er they found the underlings very easy
pickens. Have you ever seen the list of
takers for the Abramoff slush fund? It
is as if everyone wanted in on the act.
That was the closing curtain for some of
those acolytes and there will be more in
the next year or two. But Rummy, The
Dick Cheney and that level will miss the
power, but they'll have their end stashed
in safe places. Dave lad, did you read that
one of your favorites, Augusto Pinochet,
had 125 bank accounts? It happens at all
levels.

So, with the war, the criminal rot of the
party plus the rank ineptitude of Condi
Mushroom Cloud (and her husb oops so
sorry) and her laggard, obstinate Pres-
ident you have the makings of another
40 years as the congressional minority.

David, why don't you write about the
supreme tragedy and legacy of
this administration. After 6 years of on-
going monumental mistakes the Pres-
ident still has not a clue as to what he

Cliff May wrote an article in our local
paper (Apr.28,Star Banner, Bias or Fear)
that had all his usual obligatory requisites
for kissing the Israeli governments ass.
He claimed Israel is the most free and
democratic country in the Middle East.
This is merely another case of "Israel
Can Never Be Wrong Brigade". No mat-
ter how teensy weensy a slight of Israel
may be, it must not go unchallenged. It
was hard to believe Lap Dog Clifford
tossing a written fit over a group of
Brits giving up on Israeli honeydews.

Cliff Baby starts off berating Britian's
National Union Of Journalists for say-
ing no to the imports of Israeli fruits.
Then our scribe races,without taking
a deep breath, to the fact that no sanc-
tions have been called for by the NUJ
against Syria and Russia who "regu-
larly murder their critics" (swear to
God, that is what Cliffie wrote). Need-
less to say, Cliff doesn't explain what
the Syrian and Russian allegations of
murder have to do with Israel's lemon
crop.

This is a lengthy column by May and
SJ says he wants it all rebutted. He has
reached out to the NUJ and when we
get their version we shall print it with
comments on the balance of Mr, May's

There are a few T.V. commentators and
print news reporters that are assholes.
They provide nothing, other than their
tiny minded blabberings.

My April choice for uniterrupted consis-
tency in assholedum is Tucker Carlson.
When Tucker asks a question (that any
dolt can answer without batting an eye-
lash) he never gives the guest a chance
answer. Rudely, crudely, he talks over a
reply, but basically says nothing of con-
sequence. That's not suprising as he
never utters an original or poignant
thought. The asshole should let his
asshole speak. Think back to the best
selling book The Naked Lunch and rem-
ember how wise that asshole was when
it spoke.

Tucker's old man is in charge of lavatory
hygiene at parent company NBC. No-one
wants his job so he is allowed a few de-
merits. Rumor has it, however, since he
proposed his asshole son to an hour long
wash the dishes break his demerit box is
full.

Did you catch Tucker on the Democratic
debate show the other night? It person-
ifies his qualifications for this award.
When he concluded his standard, stupid,
vacuous spiel and stood there staring into
the tube with an expression that screamed
"Help me, please" it was embarrassing.
He could have farted, belched, sang, did
a soft shoe dance with flailing arms, any-
thing but looking like he just wet his pants.

That episode cinched his award as Asshole

controversary with her non-thinking, non-
reasoned persuasions. Perfect example of
her galloping ignorance comes in the wake

such future nightmares by advocating
every student on every campus be permit-
ted to carry a gun.

Reasoning does not reach her solution as
she totally misses the key element in the
equation: the assassin had a war weapon
that fired a million shots a minute- no aim-
ing necessary- just pull the trigger and a
kill a bunch. John Wayne and Gary Cooper
wouldn't have much chance against such
force. Neither would students in class, in
halls, in auditoriums, etc. even if they had
a gun.

Questions abound: Is Calamity Mal saying
students holster a gat similiar to the one
Cho blasted? Who is going to teach the
youngsters how to handle their guns safely,
how to clean their guns, how and where to
keep them at home and in school, will they
carry them to the basketball or volley ball
courts, the football field, the baseball dia-
mond.??????. Guess Calamity forgot how
the parents and the townspeople would
feel about the students swaggering out of
their favorite watering hole with their
guns at the ready

These are just of the few of the myriad of
questions as to the efficacy of Malevolent

HALF A TRILLION IS NOT ENOUGH

Togo West, Army Sec. and Veteran advisor
under Clinton, chaired a "review" of our
veteran out-patient facilities. (e.g. Walter
Reed). Conclusion: there are more Walter
Reeds in the Military Medical Corps. The
blame: Not enough money going to the
Pentagon.

Novel consequence, eh? When haven't we
seen or read the troubles within our army
can be bettered by more gelt? Well they
muscled their way to almost 1/2 trillion
now and that doesn't include the " sup-
plementals" foe Iraq and Afghanistan.How
much is enough for what Eisenhower told
us to be wary of: The Military Industrial
Complex. That's 1/2 trillion a year.

Perhaps we can get a Commander in Chief
who will tell the Pentagon to stop funding
the Star Wars project which doesn't work
and has eaten up hundreds of billions. Or
someone with active gonads can tell them
close a few hundred military basis around
the world. We have 600 or so outside the
the continental U.S. That may help keep
facilities habitable for our wounded.

Perish The Thought, Johnny

On 4/3/07 The NYTimes published an art-
icle by Kirk Semple relating details of John
McCain's excursion to Iraq.

This is a difficult blog to write having had
such reverence for the Senator. When we
disagreed it was not possible to write or
publicly discuss those disagreements.
Having spent 5 years in wartime service
myself his 5 years as a POW was always
in front of me.

When candidate George Bush, a tainted
imitation of a man, fathered those viscous
untruths about a genuine hero it foretold
(if Bush won) that America was in for a
bad time. We were perplexed when John
embraced Bush's candidacy and then his
presidency.

When Bush's war turned out to be the
most damaging decision of a lifetime, with
Senator John championing it, his follow-
ers were left dumbfounded.

But When John embraced the "surge" this
year with its probability of war and occ-
upation for many years to come it struck a
fatal wound in many an old and new sold-
ier's loyalties to Senator John.

After reading Kirk Semple's report my
head bowed in shame and embarrass-
ment for this very tired soldier. His
Americanism has been superseded by
legacyism, powerism and McCainism.
His plots and actions betray reasoning,

God Bob also quoted Feingold and Biden
who recaptured the realism of that awful
civil war.
SJ wrote a short blog on Nov. 28, '06 he
headlined as "Stop The Presses". Pres.
Bush had just blamed the Iraqi mayhem
on al Qaida. SJ tried to lend some humor
to the lack of understanding Bush exhibits
in his babbling about the war he began.SJ
learned it's pretty damn tough trying to
put humor into Bush's Iraqi mess.

A MYSTERY FOR HISTORY

Bush/Cheney caring for the faithful

Ever hear of Lester Crawford? Well, listen up. Tis a
nefarious story that breeds wonderment & dismay. Les
is about 67, married w/children, DVM from Auburn,
Ph.D, pharmacology, U. of Georgia. Dep. commish of
FDA, 2/25/02, Commish, 7/15/06, resigned 9/15/06,
"effective immediately".

Now for a taste of mind-boggling devilment. When
Les was nominated for deputy Commish in 2002, by
Bush/Cheney, he was being investigated for making
false statements to Congress and have an affair
with an employee of the agency.

Just prior to being nominated by Bush/Cheney for
Commish in 2006 Lester was being investigated for
financial improprieties & false statements to Cong-
ress. Not withstanding the above, the Repugs on the
Senate Health Committee & the controling Repug
senate confirmed ol' Les & sent him to both jobs.

Two months after becoming boss Dearest Daddy Craw-
ford resigned his office (Sept,'06. In October of
'06 he pled guilty in Federal District Court to
falsely reporting ownership of the companies
stock he regulated & failing to declare income
from stock options. Methinks Les Baby had a heluva
time with the truth.

A few questions: Isn't this corruption gone amuck?
Who vetted this liar & crook & sent an O.k. to Bush
to nominate him? Has Bush ever checked into to this?
Did Cheney have any part of the vetting? Who was
chair of the Senate Health that approved him? What
are the names of Committee members that voted for
Les?

Know how much time he was sentenced to? NOT a single
day. He got probation & a fine. How did he get before
that judge who has a rep as one not afraid to put a
guilty person in the hoosegow? Why is the sentence so
totally out of sync with the crime?

There are a couple of "ughs" in this mis-carrriage of
justice. After Lester resigned he was given a job as
a lobbyist for Political Directions,Inc., a govern-
ment relations and strategic communications firm. It
was a 1995 invention, but seems to be a Repug strong-
hold for the errant faithful. Ace reporter Miami
Maria wants to be turned loose on this one.

And the second "ugh" is fairly obvious, but brutally
true. That paragon of perfection, Lester Crawford,
donated 10 grand to the Grand Old Party.

You think you or I could get away with what he did
and be given a job & probation?? We'd be sent to Bagdad.

his NEW approach will strengthen us for the
shared sacrifices needed for victory. Huh? What?

Here are some of the benefits of "victory".

1- It will necessitate 5 to 10 years more of war.
Only God knows who we'll be warring against then.

2- Gratitude from Iraq? Never. Win lose or draw a
billion Muslims will be emboldend to strike at us
physically and financially at any time.

3- American economy down. Japan, Europe, Russia,
China up. Major problems with our deficits.

4- Rise of Hamas, Hezbollah and a dozen alikes all
ready to hurt us any way they can. This could turn us
isolationist in a period of great leaps forward in
world technology which we should be leading.

5- The "Decider's" legacy will leave America a paper
tiger. UN countries will treat us as an over-the-hill-
gang.

6- Oil cmpanies will control Iraqi oil, not American
oil hustlers, so the whole damn war has been in vain,
hasn't it?

7- And don't forget the dead and wounded reports
every day, every goddam day.

SURE, I BELIEVE IT, REALLY, really.

If it wasn't that he represented a serious sub-
ject, religion, Pastor Ted's mercurial flight
through fagotry and back would be knee slap-
ping funny.

Firstly the juicy scandal popped right around
last November's election when his male lover
blew the whistle on him. (no pun intended).
Many evangelicals blame Pastor Teddy for
allowing the Dems to grab control of Congress.

Secondly, Pastor Ted disappeared after the
charge, countercharge, admissions of the first
week. Many thought he was looking for the
Judas tree.

Thirdly, in January, 07, he surfaces and bent
on reforming, goes through a 3 week "cure"
of intensive psycho therapy and lo and behold
he is now 1oo% heterosexual.

Lastly, Pastor Ted's erstwhile "friend", an ad-
mitted gay man, said on t.v. that he never
heard of such a "cure". Such a spoilsport.

What adds to this joyous transubstantiation
is Pastor Ted's attitudee. He seems happy,
almost jaunty. -- -- --Can we wonder if -- -- --
well let's not go there. Let's just wish him
lots of luck.

Last week we wrote of Barak Obama having an op-
portunity to hit Fox News a severe body blow in re-

ainst him. Then Fox added Senator Clinton. We
suggested Barak ignore Fox & cordially refuse to
to appear on ANY format Fox may propose. All
Dems should participate, particularly the prom-
inent ones. Polite reason: other committments.

It was stunning to read the arrogance of Fox
staffers saying in effect the two Senators couldn't
& wouldn't do a damn thing about Fox's brazen
lie.

Know what would happen if the Dems refused Fox
appearances? The network would be stuck with
"guests" like Condi Mushroom Cloud and her like-
minded administration justifiers. Consider Dick
Morris and Benny Hill Gingrich a couple of times a
week. They would have to load up on telly hogs like
Kristol & Woolsey and other coat-holding neo-cons.

With these registered distortionists Fox's ratings
would go down for the count.

It would be so easy. No conspiracy. No blacklist.
Just no acceptance of any offers to be on Fox. It
would cause Fatso Ailes to shed pounds and
straighten up his act.

Lastly, if nothing is done just think what they'll
put together as the 2oo8 heats up. Fatso and

ratio of support-to-combat soldiers. Now it is a
hot subject because our Child Leader tried to
finesse the truth- -again. And The Silence Of The
Neo-Cons on the subject tells us how bloody bad
they really are.

SJ claims he thought Bob Gates was an ass kisser
when he headed the CIA. Doesn't he know ass
kissers rarely change their modus operandi?

Marvelous Molly Ivins has gone & it is a sad time
for Americans, for women, for humor, for honest,

Israel & Palestine. He failed, reason given
was that Arafat "couldn't accept the idea of
co-existence with Israel."

Unadulterated hyperbole! Ehud Barack
left the Camp David talks early because of
coming elections in Israel. Bill refined his
proposals and the three met and started the
Taba talks. Jewish scholars, academicians
know the Taba failure was due to "Netanyahu
insincerity and Barak mis-management"*

A thousand lies sprung from the root lie of
the neo-cons that peace failed because Arafat
couldn't "handle co-existence with Israel"

A LIE THAT NEVER SEEMS TO DIE

Condi Mushroom Cloud, in 2002 & 2003, said Sad-
dam's bomb could come back to our shores in the
form of a mushroom cloud. It was intended to scare
the bejesus out of us & it was vividly effective.

The Dick Cheney, our effervescent V.P., said Saddam
"reconstituted" his nuclear program and mentioned
it in all his chatty speeches & interviews. The re-
doubtable Dick still thinks the missing WMD's will
be found which tells us much about him.

Colin Powell lost a lifetime of credibility with his U.
N. speech of lies. That performance brought many
doubters aboard the pre-emptive war train. It was
not long before it was proven his whole portrayal of
Saddam's war capabilities was a devious bag of
truthless tricks.

President Bush, our Child Leader, is the reason for
this re-hash. On 60 minutes, 1/14/07, he said Sad-
dam was "rushing toward a nuclear bomb.". It
seems just changing a word or two, but keeping
the basic falsehood stable it is still usable since our
Child Leader continues to utter it. Never mind that
90 % of the country knows it's bull.

P. S. The reason Powell generates such world-wide
contempt is that he, more than any other person,
could have stopped the Bush/Cheney invasion of
Iraq because he reasoned they had no plan for
occupation & he knew Shinsecki was right about
troop levels. Why he failed is a conundrum, but
failed he did.

Something has to be said for Pres. Bush "surging"
21,500 troops into Bagdad & Anbar. Okay, I'll say
a brief word or two: The biggest diff it will make is
our casualties & the casualties of the civilians of
Bagdad & Anbar will rise. Nothing of political
gravity will transpire other that more Arabs will
hate us & more Americans will wonder why they
trusted the man with the big L on his forehead
one more time.

Last June Pres. Bush "surged" 15,000 troops
to stop the Iranian mullahs from doing what
we didn't want them to do, the Shia & Sunnies
would blood bathe each other if we didn't move
in, plus we had to halt the "mass killings" from
reaching an "unimaginable scale". There was
more of the same, but you get the idea.

Know what happened? The Iranian Mullahs did
what they wanted to do, the Shia & the Sunnies
set records for blood bathing each other and the
"mass killings " reached an "unimaginable" scale.

Questions for Pres. Bush: Bagdad is a city of over
6 million. How many of our present forces are
combat & how many are support troops. What
ratio are the 21,500 you are sending over. Two
military analysts tell me the "clean out and HOLD
the positions" would require a surge of 150 to
200,000. Mr. President, this is the 4th surge
in 4 years, all have failed. Why is this different?

My personal observation: sending 21,500 troops
to Bagdad & Anbar when 200,000 are needed
to do the job is like pissing in the Mississippi.

the Iraq picture was to stop the evil influ-
ences the neo-cons have over our Child
Leader. Bush Sr. okayed it and said he'd
talk to Child Leader. What none of those
oldies realize is that Child Leader is just
funning with the neo-cons by giving them
enough rope to hang themselves and, boy,
does he know tricks about hanging. Well,
anyway, he's going to give the neo-cons
hell as soon as we knock off Syria and

On Saturday, 1/13/07 our president, George
the Brain, said on the radio it is "irrespon-
sible" to criticize his "new" plan for victory
in Iraq when "they" (the Democrats) have
never offered a plan of their own

Such a stupid, easy to prove lie.
What about Joe Biden's plan that he laid out
all last year? How about Jack Murtha's re-
deployment plan he offered the last 12 mos.
I guess Brain didn't read Sen. Levin's plan.
There must have been 50 Dems howling to
move the troops out of Iraq. They were all
over the T.V. I guess the Brain must have
been watching Sponge Bob.

When a person lies, knowing it will be
easily detected,that person has either a
psychological problem or he has an ulter-
ior motive. That was such an obvious un-
truth SJ looked for the hidden grounds.
He found it in the dire threats to Syria &
Iran. Bush is buying time to bait Iran (&
Israel, Olmert or Netanyahu, will bait
Syria) into making a precipitous move
of retaliation. When that happens the
coalition of Israel & America will claim
self defence & flatten Syria and severely
hurt Iran. And George the brain will have
started another war that could last five
to fifteen years.

This week American gunships, tanks,
troops attacked a Iran consulate build-
ing in the Kurdish area, took about
10 prisoners, released 5 & 5 are still
"detained".Keep watch for these kind of
actions for they are super trouble. The
Kurds went bonkers, we never told them,
they thought it was an invasion. They
circled our men with A.K's at the ready.
It seems we can't do anything right even in
the peaceful Kurd province.

Is it possible to have mental problems and
still have ulterior motives??

Couple of quickies that SJ wanted on a blog. One
is from the NYT, the other I'm not sure. As you
know Nancy's House of Reps are pushing a bill to
erase tax breaks & subsidies that Exxon & its oil
sisters receive from the U.S. Government at the
taxpayers expense.

Exxon showed a profit of 36 billion in 2005 (can
you imagine how much they really made?) & they
awarded the retiring CEO a 400 million dollar
severence check.

That is a bit much, wouldn't you say?

The Brain will even things up, however. He has
given the oilers the o.k. to drill in one of the great
fishing habitats Bristol Bay in Alaska. You have to
read what damage a minor oil leak could cause.
It's a head shaker.

Here is another lulu caused by By ol' George the
Brain. His new ground commander in Iraq said
it will take 2 or 3 years to gain the advantage of
the war even with the "surge". Lt. Gen. Ray T.
Odiemo said: "If the American people feel we are
making progress they will have the patience" It
is easy to make a prediction after reading that.
There will be a plethora of great news about killing
thousands of Iraqi militia-men with never a civil-
ian casualty. Once or twice a week we will be told
that a high ranking insurgent, protege of Saddam,
or an al Qaida chieftain, trained in Afghanistan &
bosom buddy of Osama in Tora Bora, have been
bumped off leaving humongous gaps in their re-
spective hierarchys.

It seems Ted Kennedy's ideas are ever so much
more palatable than The Brains'.

Democrats took over the agenda in the House of
Representatives & the Repugs screamed as
though they were strung up by one leg as the
man from the local abbattoir approached with
poniard in hand.

Most were just pathetic, but Drier deserves
special mention. This creepy thug who gets by
with his childish appearance & manner howled
loudest of all. Let it be noted he was 100% for
the Repug gangster tactics during the recent past.
For years he was the western arm of the Repugs
hypocrite-thug-in-chief Tommy Delay.

An anonymus writer for Scripps Howard wrote an
article that acknowledged the baseness of the 1994
to 2007 Gingrich/Delay era. At the end of the piece
he called the Repug hypocrisy "breathtaking", ref-
erred to no amendments, no committee hearings,
etc., etc., etc..

Meanwhile, SJ is happy enough to try somersaults
in his golf bag.

of reality by a Bush who is stranger to such moves.
1- It tells us Baldy was out of his league in the in-
telligence czar business. 2- Condi Mushroom
Cloud needed some help before the world thought
she was running a morgue instead of the State
department. Her friends in the MSM saved her
much blushing by ignoring her inadequacies in
the bureaucratic world.

If you can remember when Ms. Mushroom Cloud
was titular head of the NSA she had a bozo named
Steve Hadley as runner-up. Ouside of Laurel and
Hardy they ran the worst security service of the
20 century. Naturally, with the dandy duet of
Bush/Cheney that made them eligible for a
promotion which they duly received.

Back to Negroponte. When Bob Zoellick quit
as deputy State Sec last July they couldn't find
one of their own to take over. Mushroom Cloud,
besides not being the swiftest of bosses wasn't
in demand as Miss Congeniality, either. But Bush
looking over his roster & always aware his govern-
ment is run for the few, of the few & by the few
prevailed on John to take the job and assured
him it would only be for two years. Pretty shrewd
of the Pres., here is a summary of John's recent
jobbers:

One comment about his resume: When he was in

missing persons & God alone knows what else.
Great qualifications for this crowd of Repugs.

Between Baldy and Mushroom Cloud our State
Department will be an extension of the Bush
Administration's floperoos and in total disarray

THE ''SURGE" ON THE RIVER TIGRIS

The Chief wishes something be written about
the "surge" of American troops into Iraq.

What can be said that's new & isn't hashed over
till its been burned to a crisp. Main things are: 1-
Bush is a sociopath. 2- Add to that he is the Charlie
Chaplin of would be world conquerors. 3- Obviously,
he intends to keep the Iraq mess truckin (with the
"surge") until he's out of office in 2009. 4- Bush &
Cheney will fight like cannibals to stop information
coming out of the investigations of Waxman, Obey,
et.al. This includes pre-war, the war, and now the
"surge" among most everything else they refused to
tell the citizens about.

Bush's legacy is now in the toilet. His last
hope (after the "surge" putrefies) will be a
a new war with Syria. Our faith is Nancy &
Harry will be ready to put his last hope in
the same toilet bowl as his legacy.

AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE WORLD OF
LAW ENFORCEMENT

Guiliano Zaccardelli resigned last week as commis-
sioner of the Royal Canadien Mounted Police. His
crime was he lied about a Canadien citizen who
was passing through Kennedy Airport on his way
home.He lied to the CIA saying the man was an
Al Qaida agent.

The U.S. people went bonkers at "capturing"
an Al Qaida rep and immediately "detained"
him. When he wouldn't admit anything and
there was no proof, we sent him to Syria for
tea & light refreshments. When the Syrians
couldn't get anything incriminating they
turned him loose. All that was in 02 & 03.

Back in Canada, Maher Arar, the victim
started a fuss. Unlike some pols in other
countries these people listened and a com-
mission was formed to investigate. Mr. Arar
was totally exonerated of everything. The
verdict of the commission came in Sept. o5.

Zacarrdelli resigned last month more than
3 1/2 years after the scum bag did his ugly
deed. He fought the facts for years & even
after they found he lied it took 14 months to
get him out.

What manner of man is this evil wretch? How
many frame-ups did he participate in?How many
innocent families were crushed because of this
filthy, lying, sadistic skunk?

I hope & pray that they put the low-life in the
joint and his cell mate is a 6' 6" lifer.

MARY CHENEY AND BABE

"Mary Cheney is having a baby".
"That's nice. God willing it will be healthy".
Isn't that the way it should be?

Why then all the undercurrent of her being a dike,
what process she used to become preggers, what
her partner & parents think, and so forth.

People around Spoilerjohn's place do not agree
politically with Mary (& possibly much else) &
the feeling (as opposed to knowledge) persists
that her up-front personality is more than some-
what abrasive if not sclerotic. And let's face it
she does assist one of the least popular pols of
the 20th century.

Fine. Jump on those foibles, if they be, but skip
the imputations and the clue dropping or the
out-right slamming of Mary and her partners'
justification for wanting and having a child.
Those personal challenges are truthfully none
of our goddam biz.

Inter alia, focusing on justification tends to
strengthen ones belief in the severe limita-
tions of a shockingly large segment of our
society.

Caught the fact that former congressman, Bob Barr,
left the Repugs for the Libertarian Party. He was
never our cup of tea. For the most part we pre-

CAN WE SURVIVE MORE NEO-CON ADVICE????

Read an article by John Broder & Robin Toner of
the NY Times in which they used Kristol, Perle,
Stinky Limbauger & Duncan Hunter as referrals.
Imagine seeking something thoughtful from that
quartet.

Kristol is trying to get off a schneider. He has yet to
offer a reasoned opinion that has borne fruit.

Richard Perle should be in prison for past indis-
cretions of 1-handling classified information and
2- muscleing kickbacks from defense contractors.
These two lames spearheaded the neo-con crowd
in bringing the U.S. to the quagmire that's Iraq.
Now they are yipping for a "surge" of more troops
in Iraq. Also bombings of Syria & Iran are planned.

These two foolishes are as obvious and tedious as
a twice told tale.

What can one say about Stinky Limbauger? He
rants manically, he distorts pathetically on a 4
day work week. He couldn't even do that if didn't
have the faxes, the E-mails & White House press
releases coming in every day. And, yes, he makes
a zillion dollars.

Duncan Hunter. When he came back from an
"inspection" of Gitmo & ate lemon chicken on
T.V. (the kind of chow the prisoners were all-
egedly getting) all I could think of was the
great Red Skelton's Guzzlers Gin routine. We
all thought Duncan was on the rib & were
stunned to realize he was serious.

You know, I am sure, that he has announced he
will campaign for the Repugs nomination to the
presidency. We must realize the serious dilemma
that envelopes us if a clown like this thinks he has
a chance to be president. Compared to Bush Dunc
is like a Princeton academician, but president,
come on, give us a break.

GOOD RIDDANCE TO H.H.H.

In the next few days the defeated Repubs will depart
the House of Representatives as well as the few who
chose not to run for re-election. Foremost among the
latter is 83 year old Henry Hyde of Illinois. Henry's
been in the House over 30 years & before that fed
himself at the State's public trough. A true public
servant.

This Old Man was a factor in 3 controversial decis-
ions: an abortion bill in 1976, an hiv/aids bill in
2003 and in 1998 the bill of impeachment leveled
against Bill Clinton. Hardly the most impressive
resume to show for 30 years in the House.

On the abortion issue the sanctimonious Hyde
didn't hesitate to represent his religious affilia-
tion by-passing the constituency who elected him.
For all his years in political life it was ever thus
with this holier than thou faker.

The Global Hiv/Aids bill was a humanitarian ob-
ligation that a great majority backed. It was also
a great self-preservation & conscience saver for
the philanderers among us. No-one wants to take
this scourge home to mama or poppa. This was a
Bush initiative & the rub was (as with others be-
fore & after this program ) the lack of gelt. Major
reason: Hyde & the House Repubs working with
the ideologists in the White House had tax breaks,
subsidies & an illegal war to finance. One rarely
reads how much has made it to the aids program,
but one can safely bet it is well underfunded. It
was smoke, mirrors, public relations and Bull.
And Holy Henry knew it.

Lastly, Bill Clinton. Seldom has a more hypocrit-
ical scene been played out by a pol than Hyde's
memorable performance. Day after day he att-
acked Clinton from soup to nuts for lying about
private, consentual sex act. One can visualize
the priggish ancient tumbling down the halls of
Congress, beads and prayer book in tow, trying
to sell his conviction theory in the impeachment
trial he knows he can't win. Suddenly it came out
the old roue' had a long time affair & a bastard
child although he was married with children. He
passed it off as a "youtful indiscretion. He was
in his 40's at the time. Two things happened
that are worth recording: 1-He continued his self
righteousness and his losing campaign against
Clinton. 2- After the initial report the main
stream media promptly forgot about Hyde's
infidelity & continued to lionize the unhallowed
old thing.

Good riddance super Hypocrite Henry Hyde.

CORRECTION PLEASE

An acknowledgement of Larry O'Donnell's article on
Huff Po headlined as "Rush Was Right". Hard to be-
lieve there is a difference of opinion with Larry over
an egomaniacle ranter.

Stinky's attributes are his stentorian voice and del-
ivery. His failing are the specious reasonings to a
howling, yowling mob of non thinkers, non readers
& sycophants who aptly refer to themselves as ditto-
heads.

Here are some facts regarding the subject to which
Larry alluded. Stinky referred to the ISG report the day
after it was released. He said it was NOT suggesting a
a cut and run program. The following evening Bill Kristol,
(Weakly Standard editor & Neo-con leader in the debacle
that is Iraq) said on Fox News, that the ISG was a " dis-
guished surrender". When Stinky came on for his radio
rant the next day he blasted the ISG report as a
"cut & run surrender without words".

Frankly, I'm surprised Stinky allowed himself to be trapped
as being a follower of Neo-con thought. That may still be
okay in the White House, but it sure as hell couldn't fill a
Volkswagon anywhere else.

THE CONUNDRUM WHOSE NAME IS BLAIR

It's not difficult to fathom why George Bush drove
his country into the disaster that is Iraq. One fac-
tor was that he was pummeled by hyperbole by
his neo-con aides of what Saddam was going to do
us. Add to that Bush's lifelong failure at virtually
every opportunity he was given, made him ripe
to take advantage of redemption in the form of a
conquering hero. He decided to bounce Saddam
& grab Iraq's oil at the same time

Bush's current continuation is more baffling. The
oil may still go to the powers that be(62 & 63 ISG)
but the war is a malignant calamity to the dead &
wounded, the ruined infrastructures, the economy
and our country may never regain its sickening
fall from the world's most prestigious nation.
Redemption must be made of very stern stuff.

But Tony Blair. Why he lied to get the Brits into
the mess is mystifying. Unlike Bush, his advisors
were skeptical, some downright opposed. Also
he had to know that he & his countrymen would
only play a subservient & sycophantic role as yes
men to a person of elephantine limitations. The
only explanation that may pass without contro-
versey is that Britian will be a heluva lot better
off when he's benched.

Comes now the suppressed Butler Report by the
House of Commons Foreign Office & Carne Ross
Key negotiator with the Brit delegation at the
U.N. in 2001, 02, 03.

Please read this report. It's shocking. At one point
the report tells us how Blair was told Saddam had
NO biological, chemical nor nuclear material.
Blair told Parliament Saddam could activate
his WMD in 45 minutes. Mr Ross conveyed the
info to the US delegation. They agreed. Bush ig-
nored it. It is pretty conclusive now, very few
Amercans believe anything Bush says, but at that
time we just didn't know that when he said some-
thing, anything, he thought was right & he be-
lieved it to be fact. There is a medical term for
that affliction.

The tragedy of this war is that the invasion
could have been stopped in its tracks by either
of two men. Tony Blair & Colin Powell. Look
at them now. Between them & all their friends
they couldn't field a soccer team.

WHO IS BEHIND THIS COVER UP?

This month a naval petty officer was sentenced to
12 years in the can for among other things espio-
nage. Pretty light considering desertion, larceny
and destruction of government property were part
of his guilty plea. Seems Ariel Weinmann admitt-
ed he stole classified info & "passed" it to an "un-
disclosed" country.

In Federal District Court when one pleads guilty
to a charge one must give some detail of his/her
crime & the participation there-in. If other per-
sons are involved or there is an on going invest-
igation they will be handeled quite gingerly.

This case was evidently heard at a naval station
with a military judge involved. Questions abound.

1- Is this prosecution the normal modus operandi
for a military judge to hear a case at a naval stat-
ion that involves espionage & 3 other felonies?
2- It's easy to knowingly understand avoiding in-
dividuals (on going investigation, etc.), but it is
hard to comprehend a non disclosure ruling ag-
ainst an inanimate entity that has no bearing on
the crimes, namely a country.
3- If it was Syria or Iran wouldn't it be a public
relations coup for a very weak administration to
report that to their faithful?
4- If it was "state within a state" (Hamas or Hez-
bollah) wouldn't that tip us off to the nefarious
intents of those organizations?
5- Suppose our friends Russia, Egypt or India
had been the receivers would that call for an
agonizing reappraisal or at least cause many
headlines.
6- Who made the decision to accept Weimann's
guilty plea at a naval station. Why was it made?
Why cover this up? After all we did foil a traitor
& got a sentence of 12 boffos. Damn good work.
7- This Administration has lost the confidence
of its people. Wouldn't this have been a glori-
ous start of a new page?
8- Did the country that was not disclosed know
the material was classified by our government?
Did it turn Weimann over to the law?

If this is the way military courts & judges operate
by keeping the American people deep in the dark
someone should tell them it is not the hallmark of
an informed citizenry of our Republic.

Harry Reid let it be known on Jan. 4, 2007 he has
a meeting with Mitch McConnell, repub minority
leader. McConnell said he would like very much
to contribute to bi-partisanship in the new cong-
ress. To all intents & purpose he has been the de
facto leader these last years. Doctor Frist didn't
have the administrative skills for senate leader-
ship. (Seems he was lacking in other skills also,
as he saw Terry Schiavo on T.V.& publicly dia-
nosed her 100% opposite of what her attending
physicians declared. That cooked his goose).

McConnell is an extreme conservative who has
voted for the Iraq war, tax cuts for the super
rich, for Scalito on the U.S. Supreme Court,
for making bankruptcy tougher, to kill class
action cases, for the patriot acts, for murdering
habeus corpus. AND he has joined the chorus
for sending more troops to Iraq. You get the idea,
don't you? Your vote & November 7 doesn't
register an iota with this guy.

Want to know the secret? He is a big, big
fund raiser for his party.

Sheryl Stolberg (nyt) listened to him praise the
Baker Study Group and asked McConnell what
he thought the President should do. He replied,
"I'm not going to give the President any advice"
What in the devil is he going to give him then?

A word of advice to Harry Reid: If you give the
duplicitous McConnell 12 cat scans at the Mayo
Clinic you can bet they won't find one (1) bi-
partisan bone in his bod.

BAKER-HAMILTON STUDY GROUP

While we await several reports from the Pentagon,
congress & whoever else Bush set up to buffer the
Study Group's ideas, it seems a mini remark here
& there would be fun.

Couldn't find an unabridged copy of the whole
thing, but there was millions of excerpts & com-
mentary of the Group's words.

Did note that Condi Mushroom Cloud did not
get a smell of printers ink in the papers, the T.V.
or the blogosphere. Guess none of the Group
could stand her bantering every question asked,
nor would listen to her euphemisms over facts
routine.

There was amazingly little reported about intel-
ligence. One scribe noted the Group said the
intel community can & must do better. Granted
it can, but how the dickens will it when President
Foolish has appointed the head of the CIA
(Hayden) the FBI (Mueller) the NSA (Hadley)
the Czar (Negroponte), devoted Bushies all.

Knowing he has no shot at representing the U.S.
at the United Nations with a Democratic Senate
taking over, acting Ambassador John Bolton will
"resign" the end of this month. President Bush
had let it be known he was re-nominating Bolton
even though he failed to be confirmed last year by
a Republican Senate. (The post election, 2006
impartation of Bush's bi-partisanship).

Mucho thanks to departing Senator Lincoln Chafee
who, in effect, let it be known he would rather vote
for Mike Tyson, a real tough guy, than a bulldozer
whose specialization is browbeating women,
children & underlings. Chafee is O.K. in spades.

Also, incoming Chairman Pat Leahy just smiled
when someone asked how he would feel if Bolton's
nomination came before his Judiciary Committee.

BUSH'S RE-ACTION TO HIS 11/7 ELECTION "THUMPIN".

Almost all American's assumed after his election
defeat President Bush would adjust his policies,
if only minutely, to accomodate the mandate of
the voters.

Among the wants of those voters was to get our
troops out of Iraq's civil war as quickly as feas-
able & a bipartisan participation with the Dems
to proceed with the Government's businesses.

In less than a month since the thumpin, Pres.
Bush has notified the American people while
he was in Estonia our troops will not "quit"
Iraq. Some one guided him to Latvia where
he sat with that President & told her and a
gang of reporters our troops will stay in Iraq
"- - - until the mission is completed". Finally
in Amman, Jordan, after being mortified by
a no show, the next morning he held the
shortest summit in history with the Iraqi
P.M. & guess what came out of that. Bush
told a joint press group that "- - any busi-
ness about a graceful exit just simply has no
realism at all".

Which should convince even the slowest
among us that for all his screeching about
the vaunted election priviledge he doesn't
give a shit for what you think or say or vote
he's going to do it his way. Incomprehensible
& unreasoned, but his way.

But wait, there's more. Remember the 4 nom-
inees for judgeships? Some sort of a deal was
made and the Dems wouldn't filibuster a
couple of judges & the Repubs would with-
draw the others and not go forward with ban-
ning the filibuster. Everything went as agreed
until Bush informed Frist he wants the other
nominees. Of course he'll get none.

One more. This one is a lulu.Heads will shake
& eyes will roll. With classic Bush hubris he
appointed a religious right, unrealistic, ex-
tremist, Eric Keroack, to head the Nation's
Family Planning Agency. Eric would make
Queen Victoria seem like a window hooker
in Amsterdam. Problem is this agency funds
many outlets that do not specify religions.
The Chief wants more research on Eric so
we'll be hearing about him. He's against it
all, even contraception for MARRIED folks.

In the country of Estonia the President of the
United States told the world last evening that
the violence in Iraq was "- - taking place be-
cause al Qaida is causing people to seek
reprisals."

soldier in the real world will show shock &
awe in their comments on this statement.

Further, this analysis of the situation in
Iraq will solidify the extant notion that this
President is not only a thorough incompet-

MALKIN/COULTER. WHAT A PAIR TO DRAW TO

In the 8 foreign countries blasted in good citizen
Malkin's column she mentioned torture, jail &
death in 7. In the 8th she does not name names,
but conclusively writes: "- - the cartoonists- - - -
are still hiding in fear of their lives." It wouldn't
take an MIT grad to get their monickers.

The only important allegation came in the last
paragraph when good citizen Malkin exploded
in a rant about America's "- -media elite journ-
alists- - ". No names were brought forth, but it
was quite heavy in accusations, but for some
reason, not explained, she ignores the names
of the scalawags.

Then realization set in: good citizen Malkin
went to the Powers That Be & reported the cul-
prits.That is what a good citizen would do & she
is a good citizen. After all she made a charge of
"leaking secret information" & "broadcasting
enemy propaganda" what else could she do?

Turns out she did nothing, because she had
nothing. Nasty words, no specificity, mean,
lying words with zero behind them but a
large amount of chutzpah. How can a good
citizen perform thusly?

The Chief ordered a few words about King of the
Squealers, Jack Abramoff, as he is carted off to
yonder shithouse somewhere in the U.S.A. This
arrogant liar & cheater personifies everything
one can hate in a lawbreaker. He played his
clients for suckers, corrupted the corrupt, corr-
upted the occasionally corrupt & tempted the
uncorruptable until they succumbed to his
corruption. He gave his profession a worse
name than it already had &, boy, that's tough.

Now as he is deservedly in the can he is vomit-
ing out the names of everyone he ever knew &
claiming they aided & abetted his criminal act-
ivities. Rumor is afoot he blamed his grand-
father for a kinky takedown he pulled off
several years after the old man passed on.

Every penny he spent whether on food or 100,
000 golf outings or just plain old fashioned
cash were to further his nefarious schemes
and dreams.

Henceforth in all jottings on these pages he

It is indeed difficult to fathom how Billy found
himself classified as a writer worthy of a syndi-
cated column. It may be doubted that he him-
self writes the column, but it is inexcusable not
to have a competent ghost writer on hand who
can ease away from conventional myth and re-
frain from statements that scream of stupidity
and ignorance.

Couple of examples:
"There is no army in the world that can impose
democracy or any other kind of government on
an unwilling population". If Bill believes those
words then he must tell his diminishing, but
adoring, public why he has supported Bush's
war in Iraq. Originally, the reason for the pre-
emptive invasion was to defend the U.S. from
Sadam's WMD. When no WMD's were found
the reason was changed to we are bringing
democracy to that sovereign nation. Isn't it
excellent strange that Bill knowingly champ-
ions a cause verbally then writes a column
that takes a 100% divergent view? Maybe
just a ghost writers mistake. Certainly not
O'Reilly's, pride of the fair & balanced mob.

Bill Boy wrote (or maybe the ghost) "rem-
ember the Soviets brutalized Afghanistan,
-- -- --but could not make communism ac-
ceptable there". Very poor example. To
begin with the Soviet entry was not a pre-
emptive attack. They were asked to come
in by the communist ruler, Najabullah, to
assist in stopping an insurgency by the
Muhjadeen. It was a communist area,
Kabal, before the Soviets came in. That
it failed was due to our CIA furnishing
billions in arms & cash to the warlords
who controled the country (then & now)
outside the capital, but that's another
story.

Let's go back to "no army imposing its
way on an unwilling population"Alex-
ander & Caesar did it & only their un-
timely deaths prevented permanent
consolidation. More relevant, Bill
must research the prophet, Moham-
med. He did it and re-did it. Starting
with a tiny few he conquered & won
over as todays billion 100 million
Muslims will attest.

Let's forget this. A college couldn't
record O'Reilly's lifetime of bluf-
fing the public, but it wouldn't help
an iota, anyhow. The man has no

Why does Fox news & anchor Brit Shit Hume have
Bill Kristol on their evening news show? Kristol
was one of the prime movers on the catastrophe
that is Iraq. He echoed in the Weakly Standard &
on TV the Bush, Cheney, Rummy lies about Iraq's
WMD, its armed forces capabilities, etc. etc. He
must have used Condi Mushroom Cloud's hyper-
bole about Saddam's WMD's coming to our cities
in the form of a "mushroom cloud" a dozen times.

Name one issue espoused by Kristol that has been
beneficial to our country. Name one prognostic-

keep after the goals that took us to Iraq, be-
cause it is too important to our own security.
Iraq has to be successful for America to be
secure. And so we will maintain that course.

Prediction: The first public statement she
makes on Iraq after she arrives home will
totally ignore" stay the course" and will
stress co-operation with the Dems & with
Iraqs' neighbors.

AN ANSWER TO ROBERT REICH'S "WHAT THE
DEMOCRATS SHOULD DO NOW."

One of the Spoiler's favorite ex-politicians (is it
possible to be an EX -politico) is Bob Reich, but
exception must be made to points espoused in a
Nov.9 blog on the web site of Common Dreams.
For the most part it was plausible & agreeable,
but oh, so compliant. What is vital is uncompli-
ance. Many Dems are willing to forego Bush im-
peachment procedings only because of the time
it will take from the House Judiciary committee,
but no Dem wants to put the quietus on Rangel,
Waxman, Conyers or Frank with their joyous
subpoena powers.

Reich wrote: "there is no point in digging up more
dirt." "----the public & the media are suffering
from outrage fatigue" and "---the public is sick of
mudslinging."

Answers: 1- "there is no point etc" Robert, the point
of subpoena power & investigations is to write or
correct laws so that misfeasance or whatever does
not re-occur. Also to provide oversight which has
been totally missing under the Bush corruption &
cover up years. 2-"The public and the media------
outrage fatigue" The first re-action is that it is too
goddam bad about the media. They did precious
little oversight nor did they help our cause during
our out years. On second thought, that statement is
out of touch with reality. The media thrives on po-
litical outrage. It sells papers, it's easy to write
about, it can be a filler or a feature, it is a story for
free, it is real, it's happening, it's alive and it takes
the public away from the same crap they are stuck
with day in & day out. 3- "-----mud slinging". Bob,
when Henry Waxman, John Conyers start an in-
vestigation you can go to the window and bet it will
not feature mud slinging. It will be fact slinging.
Heaven knows we need some facts after 6 years of
lies & cover ups.

Bob, you know billions & billions of our taxpayers
money's are missing and completely unaccounted
for. Was it lost, stolen, given away, what?? Do you
know no-one is even trying to determine where it
went? Hasn't this administration caused enough
heartache with their lying & chicanery? And look
at Iraq with their destroyed infrastructure, very
little water, very little electricity and perhaps as
many as half million dead or wounded and a civil
war raging every day because of us. Look at our

The Chief wanted to know why naught has been
written in these blogs re Tuesday's voting. The
reason: every half-assed pundit on every half-
assed talk show in every half-assed newspaper
are pouring out their half-assed opinions and
they all depend on the polls. Rarely does one
deviate from conventional prognostications
either because they are such blanks or their
gonads are the size of a pea. The Dems are
living in fear the Repugs will take the ballots
and machines home with them when the polls
close and slide them back early Wednesday
morning. The Repugs are floundering, talking
shit, praying Karl Rove has the Diebold key
to those ghastly machines.
A few predictions are in order, but first a re-
peat of one posted here last week. If the Dems
do not capture one of the houses of Congress
we can kiss the Republic goodbye and say hello
to a fascist dictatorship. Plus, forget about the
2008 presidential election. It will be"postponed"

The biggest Repug to bite the electoral dust will
be Ricky Santorum. He's been around a long
time, is in the Repug leadership and gets plenty
of T.V. time. He had a gushy piece writen by neo-
con pundit, David Brooks that made Ricky sound
like the 2nd coming of you know who. Truth be
told Santorum is not known for his legislative
skills nor his brainpower nor his popular-
ity nor his chieftainshp. Mostly he just hung out.

Win or lose George Allen is cooked in-so-far as
his presidential bid in 2008. One thing that must
be asked: wasn't there one pundit that recognized
Allen was a klutz? If there was, he/she must be
writing or speaking in moon talk because no one
on this planet heard or read it. Allen makes Bush
sound like a summa cum laude from M.I.T.
Other Senate losers: Ford, DeWine, Talent, Kean
and one who deserves to be shipped naked to
Anbar Province, Conrad Burns.

The House will go to the Dems and the Pelosi,
Conyers, Obey, Frank, Waxman, Rangel and a
few others will not waste time, money and effort
on any impeachment crap. They will, however,
raise hell with their new subpoena power. These
and other Dems will go into history as the
Congress that preserved our Republic.

A note to Demo leadership: do everything you
can to preserve accountability and prevent the
shredding of Repub corruption in the period
between election day and the swearing in

category for his entire 8 years. It didn't come to

voting booth and ignore any repub on the ticket
for you may never get another chance. Here is a

keep control of Congress on November 7 consti-
tutional governance will not exist in 2008

Know how they'll do it? They will "postpone" the
2008 presidential election on the pretext of a
"Natonal Imminent Crisis" (think Saddam and
his WMD's he was going to use on us. Only one
thing happened-they didn't exist) Once they post-
pone the voting, you think they'll let us back in? Or

congressmen would even think of stopping them?

Alex Cockburn, 10/23/06 brings out the
lighter side of political sex scandals in
above dated column. He mentions the
premier dalliance of all time where the
righteous Repubs of the congress had
Pres. Clinton impeached for having con-
senting sex with an adult and trying to
cover it up. The Ken Starr, zoftic Monica
& Bill to-do had half the country on the
edge of their couches awaiting the next
revelations. Special Counselor Starr's
extravagant graphics and his fascination
with the closet activities of Billy and the
cherub had many wondering what Starr
was all about. One joyful effect of this
brush of history was it made lifelong
ogres of Chertoff, Coulter and others.

Alex tells about Jocelyn Elders, the
country's first female top doc who was
fired for giving a thoughtful, but
bureaucratic answer to a question
about masterbation. She neither con-
doned or condemned it. The holier-
than-thou crowd went ape with the
old reprobate, Henry (Jekyll) Hyde
at the top of the tree. Clinton, the
great poll reader, fired her forth-with.
Doctor Elders is a smart, thinking
black lady. Bill assured hypocrisy
would be the order of the day con-
cerning sex in his administration.
After that his enemies just bided
their time.

In an aside a favorite playing around
fact came to light around impeach-
ment time. Hyde, revered pietist
and family person, sired an out of
wedlock child in his 42nd year.
When confronted he admitted it &
said it was a "youthful indescretion".
Again he was 42, married, children.
The sanctimonious old phoney re-
fused to discuss it after the admiss-
ion and the vaunted "liberal" press
gave the ultra conservative a pass on
the story. Hyde easily won re-election
and played his hallow card and cap-
tained the vote to impeach Clinton.
Moral: Don't cover it up, chances are
it will go away. Sorta, kinda what Foley
is doing now.

The Foley sit-com was known to every
one in D.C. that can see or hear. Foley
took the fall, but the brainless Repubs
started blaming each other for not
putting the brakes on Mark earlier.
Finally they called the whitewasher
brigade to cool things out with an
investigation. But you can bet the Dems
will have this in the wings waiting for
its cue. Cockburn comes with a knee
slapper when he labels Foley's abuse
by a priest, alcoholism and mental
illness a trifecta. He turns mindful,
however, about labeling Foley a hyp-
ocrite for inserting strong language
into the Child Protection Safety Act.

Alex's article was fun about games,
but his last two sentences brings one
back to reality that a government in
trouble will resort to world dangers to
hold power. The Repubs are in free
fall and this failed bonehead admin-
istration with their failed neo-con
advisors are capable of anything.

The pleasantries that have accrued
thanks to Stinky are many, but time
& space allow just a few:
1- It illuminates Limbauger's ignor-
ance of the disease and has awak-
ened many of his cult to wonder
where is the vaunted intelligence
"on loan from God" that he brags
about daily.
2- Every person with a debilitating
disease (Parkinson, Alzheimer, etc.)
and their families & friends will toss
their Repub votes in a dumpster on
the way to the polling booths.
3- It personifies the lack of probing
& understanding that leads to the
rank incompetance the Repubs have
shown in Iraq, foreign policy, New
Orleans, Afghanistan, etc. etc.
4- The American people certainly
prefer their money be spent on
embryo stem cell research that
offers hope than on a civil war in
Iraq that offers only more tragedy.

The key line in the interview of V.P. by

& write down each reply. He explained

wouldn't give an answer, the balance
gave unprintable stuff. Not one agreed,
in any way,with the reply of V.P. ,
particularly the unprintables.

WHY 1/2 MILLION CLUSTER BOMBS ?

A cluster bomb is roughly the size of a
light bulb. When dropped from a plane
they are protected fr0m immediate ex-
plosion. Within a set time (1 day, 3, 5,
7, whatever) they can explode at the
slightest handling, usually killing woman
& children, but any handler will do.

Israel, after destroying Lebanon infra-
structure, food & water supplies, air and
sea ports, bridges, roads, homes, kill-
ing thousands, etc., dropped a million
cluster bombs on Lebanon's largest
cities in the last 3 days of that useless
conflict. So the destruction and killings
go on and on and on.

Incidently, Israel knew, as the whole
world knew, the cease fire was 72
hours away.

Newspapers say there are only 1/2
million now in Lebanon. Sounds like
the guy who claimed if he didn't have
bad luck he wouldn't have any luck
at all.

Have to send out a brief word on David
Brooks, Times columnist, T.V.panelist
& alleged pundit, latest sweetheart of
the right wing philosophy. Many avoid
reading Davey since one is usually in a

tripe. Will only comment on his latest
article headlined "a prequel of politics
yet to come" since it personifies his
duplicitous screeds.

It concerns the senatorial race between
DeWine (R) and Brown (D). Brooks
makes it out to be the most vital race in
this election. Such nonsense. But the
main fault with the analysis of the race
is his not mentioning the state of the
republican party which is in a moribund
condition. He never mentions Taft,
Blackwell, Schmitt and half dozen other
embarressments who have disgusted the
party beyond repair for this November
election,(The Dems could have run Mike
Tyson in Ohio this year and he would
have been a factor) Why would David
ignore that fact? Take here is that this
is vintage Brooks telling half the story
and slip sliding away from key facts
that are detrimental to the neo-con
agenda. This is an irreversable method
of operation for Davey Boy and his
Weakly Standard puppeteers.

Fox News anchor, Mr. Shit Hume has
pounced on minority leader, Harry,
Reid, following the lead of A.P. re-
porter, John Solomon, and radio
ranter, Rush Stinky Limbauger,
about a land deal in Nevada. Seems
Reid bought a parcel for 400k in his
own name, transfers it to an LLC
then after owning it for 6 years sells
it for 1.1 million. Considering the time
he had it and the almost country-wide
boom it wasn't an abnormal profit.

Listening to Stinky go orgasmic when
he was given a memo of it during his
daily talkathon it seemed Reid had
been caught in bed with a dead
woman or a young boy. Hume had
glee all over his kisser when he asked
those independent thinkers, Barnes
& Kondracke, for their opinions. The
conjecture & insinuations flew when
those three intellectuals got into it.
The first thing that came across (and
this goes for Stinky, also) was that
none of them knew what a limited
liability company was, but left no
doubt something kinky was afoot.

There are advantages an LLC offers
over sole ownership, partnerships,
corporations and tricky way the IRS
handles them. In recent years the
switch-over is a rather common pro-
cedure. Reid may have annoying
paper work problems, but bet they
have nothing to do with a land deal.

Incidently, this was the A.P. report-
er's third try to hang something on
Reid in the last eight months or so.

William Rusher, columnist for N.E.A. &

Institute has writtten much that has

ority leader of the House, Nancy Pelosi,
has for getting out of Iraq. He berates
her up one side and down the other.
Suddenly he comes clean and admits
it isn't really Pelosi's plan. He made it
all up and apologizes to the readers
for misleading them.

THEN he scrawls the rest of the column
cutting her a new ass for a plan that
never was.

I admit I need help on this one.

The Foley blitz has brought out odd connections and tales from the nations politicians and pundits. Hastert blames Soros, but provides zero evidence. Benny Hill Gingrich castigated the Dems for poping the scandal at a "despicable" point in time which is just more Benny Hill hyperbole ignoring the fact that the reporter, Brian Ross, who broke the story, admittted he got it from the Repubs.

Back to Ms. Parker writing the mother of all blame games about the Foley mess.

Her explanation of the scandal entailed sexual promiscuity before marriage, the entertainment industry, under-age sex in high school,

states that approve abortion, "palpitating" Nancy Pelosi, Bill Cinton, "supposed" Democratic party outrage that is "simply a stage show to provoke voters".

Mark Foley is peripherally mentioned once in paragraph 2 which is about "liberal Democrats" being responsible for this "state of affairs".

Putting aside Ms.Parker's puerile, irrelevant gibberish, her scatter-gunned brief has a fatal flaw that relegates it to the nearest fireplace.
She completely ignores the pages in this wicked disgrace. Are their concerns totally insignificant to Ms. Parker that they do not merit a sentence in her diversionary polemic? Didn't it cross her threshold that the youngters involved, and not involved,

What is more than somewhat shocking is
the lack of concern for the Pages, past and
present, by the pillaging pols. These young
people may have disturbing memories and
are in a quandry as to their next move:
should they come forward with what they
know or back away and try to bury the
sleeze.

And what are the telly and radio gasbags
harping on? They are ranting to protect
the culprits who knew about Foley's urges
and did nothing but cover them up.

They should be lobbying to provide pri-
vate aid and counsel to these youthful
Americans and their families. No
gorilla tactics, no threats, no cajolery,
just soothing truth.

And Foley. Forget Foley. At this point in
time, the cops and FBI are on that phase
and Foley is not a danger to anyone now.
Never fear, the prosecuters will have their
15 minutes in the sun and Foley will get
his just deserts. ( trouble is he may like
the smorgasbord ).

But, seriously, this the time for truth
and co-operation and understanding
among the boys, their families and
the truthseekers.
